Thanksgiving weekend in the snow

After a long day it is great to sit by the fire and have a glass of wine and read a book.

While walking on the path to the cabin I had to take this photograph.
The view from our front porch looks over Clear pond and is everchanging.

We built this cabin in 2004 and 2005 with friends and family. It is such a quiet and beautiful place to escape to.

Thanskgiving weekend was a wonderland of snow. We headed north to our cabin near Tupper Lake and the closer we got the more snow there was. Bill, Alex, Garrett and I wandered through the snow on skis or snow shoes and enjoyed the quiet beauty of the woods.

The Island of Tobago

Bill and I went on vacation just after the new year and took a cruise on Celebrity Cruise Lines. What a great time we had! On the island of Tobago my friend Chris and I wandered through the rain forest with a great guide, Harris McDonald. Please check out his web site http://www.harris-jungle-tours.com/. Welcome to our blog! I am very excited to show you what I have been up to over the last few months. It is such a wonderful thing to be able to enjoy life through imagery, whatever kind that may be. I had an exceptional 2008 with all of you. It was such a pleasure to work with all the families this past year, telling their stories and sharing energies with them. I look forward to more of the same in 2009.
